Counselling offers a calm, steady space to think clearly and explore what feels difficult, confusing, or overwhelming. You can bring whatever is happening in your life — thoughts, feelings, memories, or situations that are hard to make sense of on your own. There is no pressure to present things neatly or to know exactly where to begin. We work it out together.
My work is person‑centred, trauma‑informed, and relational. This means we pay attention to your experience, your pace, and the relationship we build in the room. Therapy is collaborative rather than directive; I don’t tell you what to do, but I help you understand yourself more deeply so you can make choices that feel right for you.
People come to counselling for different reasons.
Short‑term therapy can help with a specific issue, decision, or period of stress.
Longer‑term therapy offers space to explore deeper patterns, trauma, relational dynamics, or experiences that have built up over time.
We can talk together about what feels most helpful for you.
I offer counselling online, in person, and by telephone. You’re welcome to choose the format that feels most comfortable. If you prefer in‑person work, full details of the therapy space are shared during the introductory call.
I work with a wide range of experiences, including:
anxiety and stress
trauma
abuse and sexual violence
relationship strain
long‑term pressure
suicidal distress
early adulthood transitions
cultural adjustment
complex relational dynamics, including narcissistic patterns
You don’t need to fit into a category — if something is affecting your wellbeing, we can explore it.
Starting counselling can feel daunting, especially if you’ve been carrying things alone for a long time. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear explanation. The first step is simply reaching out. We can arrange an introductory call so you can ask questions, get a sense of how I work, and decide whether therapy with me feels like a good fit.
Counselling sessions last 50 minutes and can take place online, in person, or by telephone. You’re welcome to choose the format that feels most comfortable. If you prefer in‑person work, full details of the therapy space are shared during the introductory call.
My fee is £50 per session.
Payment can be made via the payments page or by bank transfer. If you have any questions about fees or payment, we can discuss them during our initial call.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know with at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged at the full fee.
I offer daytime and evening appointments throughout the week. We can discuss what works best for you during our initial call.
Everything you share in counselling is treated with care and confidentiality. I work within professional ethical guidelines, and we can talk through how confidentiality works in practice when we first meet.
