Accepting Clients
I am a counsellor with over ten years of professional experience in community, university, and private practice settings. Throughout my work, I’ve supported people through anxiety, trauma, abuse, sexual violence, relationship strain, long‑term pressure, and suicidal distress. I also have experience with clients navigating early adulthood, major life transitions, cultural adjustment, and complex relational dynamics, including narcissistic patterns.
My approach is person‑centred, trauma‑informed, and relational. I work in a steady, collaborative way, helping you slow down, think clearly, and make sense of what feels overwhelming or difficult to carry on your own. You don’t need to arrive with a perfect explanation — we can explore things together at a pace that feels right for you.
I offer both short‑term and longer‑term therapy, depending on what you need. Some people come for a few sessions to work through a specific issue; others prefer deeper, ongoing work to understand long‑standing patterns or experiences.
I work online, in person, and by telephone with clients across the UK and internationally. If you prefer in‑person sessions, full details of the therapy space are shared during the introductory call.
Alongside my counselling practice, I am a qualified clinical supervisor, supporting counsellors and trainees in their professional development. I also maintain a strong commitment to ongoing learning, regularly developing my practice through CPD and personal study in areas such as trauma, sexual violence, relational dynamics, and suicide intervention.
If you’re considering counselling, you’re welcome to get in touch to arrange an introductory call. It’s a chance to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether therapy with me feels like a good fit.
